A famous musician is in town to help with the Flint water crisis. Catholic Charities welcomed Scott Stapp from the band Creed on Friday.
Stapp visited the Center of Hope with his wife to donate water through their Charm Foundation.
“He took time out of his busy schedule to stop and deliver water here at Catholic Charities,” said Vicky Schultz, CEO Catholic Charities, Flint. “He was unloading, he was giving out water. He came down to see our warming center our soup kitchen, took a quick tour of our facilities. So we're so grateful that he took the time to stop.”
Stapp will play with his band in Flint on Friday night.
